Background and Objective: The concept of wealth in Saadi’s Garden goes beyond material wealth and is linked to benevolence, forgiveness, and inner needlessness. This article aims to examine the role of forgiveness and almsgiving in achieving wealth, and examines it with Catherine Ponder’s perspective on abundance and the mindset of abundance. Necessity of Research: Despite numerous studies on Saadi’s ethics, less attention has been paid to the connection between his teachings and contemporary theories of wealth. Research Methodology: The research was conducted in a descriptive-analytical manner with a comparative approach, and data was extracted from the text of the Garden and Ponder’s works. Findings: The studies show that Saadi considers forgiveness to be a factor of blessing, peace, good name, and freedom from greed, while Ponder also introduces forgiveness as a way to open up to abundance and overcome the mindset of scarcity. Conclusion: In both perspectives, wealth is not limited to material possessions, but is realized in generosity, trust, and freedom from the fear of poverty; with the difference that Saadi explains it within the framework of religious ethics and social responsibility, and Ponder emphasizes its psychological and mental mechanism.
