Childhood, as one of the fundamental pillars of the family, plays a crucial role in sustaining emotional bonds, providing biological meaning, and compensating for parental frustrations. Parvin E‘tesami, Simin Behbahani, and Forugh Farrokhzad are three contemporary poets who, through their unique worldviews, offer new representations of parental and filial responsibility. Accordingly, their poems are examined through the lens of Alfred Adler’s individual psychology and lifestyle theory. In today’s world, the arrival of a child brings significant transformations to family life. Technological advancement, the dominance of virtual realities, the desires of the new generation, and their approach to life’s responsibilities often lead to confusion and instability. The aim this study is to elucidate family experiences and th of e position of children within poetic themes—an inquiry that can provide a suitable mental framework for understanding individual behavior amid the transition from traditional to modern values. It also reveals the types of attitudes, emotions, and behavioral patterns related to children’s lifestyle that emerge in the works of these three poets from Adler’s perspective. The findings indicate that none of the poets distinguish between sons and daughters. Simin Behbahani and Parvin E‘tesami address children’s needs and the “receiving” personality type more frequently, while Forugh Farrokhzad does so to a lesser extent. E‘tesami’s emotional perspective is weaker than that of the other two poets, whose emotional views appear with similar frequency. Their philosophical outlook is symbolic and moderate, appearing most prominently in E‘tesami’s poetry. However, all three poets demonstrate a markedly strong social perspective,
